Welcome to Yokkaichi Japanese Language School!
Since our founding in 1990, our school has accepted many Japanese language learners, mainly those who want to go on to university in Japan.
As a school certified by the Association for the Promotion of Japanese Language Education (general incorporated foundation) and an appropriate school for the Regional Immigration Bureau, we help you take the first step towards your dreams.
Our classes are divided into levels: beginner, pre-intermediate, intermediate, and advanced, and our curriculum is designed to ensure balanced development of the four language skills (reading, listening, speaking, and writing).
In principle, classes are conducted in Japanese only using the “direct method” without using any intermediate language. All teachers are Japanese language education specialists and have a wealth of knowledge and solid skills.
The “direct method” helps students develop the habit of understanding and thinking in Japanese.
The homeroom teacher will understand the Japanese language ability of each student and provide guidance responsibly. At the same time, by having multiple teachers in charge of one class, we are able to respond to the various needs of students.
In order to ensure that students can study in Japan with peace of mind, faculty and staff will provide one-on-one counseling for each student so that they can discuss matters such as daily life and further education.
In addition, in terms of health, students are required to enroll in national health insurance and accident insurance in case they become ill. In addition, the university will cover the cost of annual health checkups, so that students can concentrate on their studies while remaining healthy both physically and mentally.
